FOREWORD The following 170 lots are from the James C Douglas Collection. Jamie, as he was affectionately known, had a passion that lasted 60 years and his focal point was Tri-ang, where he had an eye for the unusual, rare and different pieces. The advent of the Internet allowed Jamie to amass a huge collection of Tri-ang that became one of the largest in the UK. A quiet, dignified man who also had a love of languages, science and history was deeply respected and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. Tri-ang and Tri-ang Hornby 00 Gauge repainted/renumbered Class B12 and Ivatt Locomotives and other items, BR black B12 renumbered 61502 and detailed and Ivatt Class 2 2-6-0 78026, both in polystyrene bases and weathered, complete B12 chassis, early plunger 'Princess' Chassis with driving wheels only (no bogie or pony wheels) and 0-6-0 BR black Jinty (body loose, not able to fit on chassis, warped?), P-G (5)
